Bloodroot is intended to be the first of a series of circular plays
(where characters interact in a loop, e.g., AB-BC-CD-DA) to be performed at Monkland Community Centre in NDG, where writer/director Adam Kelly Morton serves as President.
Adam's previous works include The Anorak, which has been performed for the past two years at Monkland CC and has been produced all over since its creation in 2000, including at Off-West End in London, for the Edinburgh Fringe, and in Rio de Janeiro (in Portuguese).


Currently, in addition to writing for television and theatre, Adam is the Founder of I.O. Acting & Creative Studio based here at Monkland CC. He lives in NDG and is married with four children.
